If the sender sends the money using your email address or mobile phone number, you will receive an email or text message with instructions on how to deposit the payment into your Eligible Transaction Account. If the sender uses your Eligible Transaction Account information, the money will be deposited directly into your Eligible Transaction Account. In that case, you will only receive a notification if the sender enters an optional message when submitting the payment.
To request money the user you are requesting funds from must also have an account on Sparx. When the user who the funds are being requested from logs into their account and accesses their "My Account" dashboard, they will see the pending request for funds and can either accept or reject the request.
When sending funds to another user, those funds come from your Sparx account balance. To send more than your current balance you will need to add more to your balance using one of the available options in the "deposit" menu.
When a user send another user a request for funds, and the requested user accepts, the requested funds are deducted from the requested users Sparx balance. In order to accept the funds request, the user must either have that amount in their balance, or they will need to add more funds to their balance using one of the options in the deposit menu.
